I'm a newbie to SSA and not sure what I should do here:
We have 2 7133-D40s w/2 hot spares and 14 RAID_1 arrays. Earlier I inadvertaly used a SSA system disk for production data. No problem, I thought, I'll just change the use of one of the hot spares and create a RAID_1 array. But when I go into Change/Show/Delete a Hot Spare Pool smit won't allow me to select either of the two hot spare pools. Can someone tell me the best way to change a hot spare to an array candidate and then make a RAID_1 array with the system disk? (Hopefully w/o any downtime...We're a hospital and this system is the HIS)

Thanks!

hmm, the code on this site obviously doesn't like apostrophes in URLs (bless IBM), please cut and paste the whole URL from the above into a browser to see the pdf book.
