Hi All,

I started getting this message last Monday, it happened once and then again today. It only happens during midnight routines. The error is coming from an MGXP. I can see that its registered. I telneted to the MGXP and did a joinsecdomain anyway and ran mids again and recieved the error again. I have also did a stat ucm sys refresh in LD 117 and the card says its registered. Does anybody know what this messge is????

Thanks

JW

You haven't said what the actual error message is?. All I have on MGXP is

CS1000E rls 6
New MGC or MGXpec added but DSP channels remain down/disabled

Solution:
Step 1: Define the Superloops and IP addresses in LD 97
Step 2: Connect the Ethernet of the MGC/MGXpec.
Step 3: USE the CLI command mgcsetup on the MGC/MGXpec cards to define the E-lan information.
Step 4: The MGC/MGCXpec will download the mgcdb.xml file from the Call Server, and a reboot of the card follows
Step 5: LD 117 stat IPMG shows the IPMG is registered on the CS1000e
Step 6: The VGWs are still disabled/down
Step 7: REGENERATE the fingerprint in UCM.
Step 8: LD 117 [REG UCM SYS]

All the items are now registered and connected, up and running.
