Hi All, my production is 1 cs1k (ver7.5), 4x SRG50, the ip phone firmware for the entire system is C8L, we want to test C8T and upgrade to C8T

1. for a SRG 50, where to store phone firmware? If inside the box, which directory for it?

2. We are using DHCP server, is Option 66 use to setup Tftp sever address?

3.if I upgrade SRG50 firmware to C8T using a Tftp, what is .cfg file name that to be uploaded to TFTP?

4. What is the rough suggestion for upgrading test? what if I upgrade one SRG firmware to C8T but keep CS1K to C8L ?

thanks and appreciate your help.

WOW . I have now no idea what you are talking about.

Apply the patch and the phones will automatically updated

This can only be accessed if you have access to the system at a higher level via the command line.

I don't use SRG, hence the old files dated 2008, but I have updated the IP sets to the latest spec on my BCM system.

All the best
