On page 21 of the SRG50 rls. 2.0 GA bulletin (P-2006-0345-Global Rev 2) it states the following:

"Blind Transfer is not supported by SRG50"

This is one of the items under the heading "Known Issues/Limitation". Does anyone have a clue what this means and how the issue would manifest itself? Blind transfer is just a method of transferring a call from one user to another. The users are all under the control of the CS1000, so how would that limitation come into play. As always theories, rumors, and wild a** guesses are always welcome.

Thanks
Rob

I would assume that refers to blind transfer while in local mode, or doing a blind transfer from an analog device on the SRG 50. In normal mode the main office PBX is the controlling factor, and blind transfers are allowed on that with no problems.

If my theory is correct, then it shouldn't really be an issue as you would only be in local mode during a WAN outage, and that shouldn't be for a very long time anyways.

My guess is that this refers to the phones when in Local Mode. It makes sense that you wouldn't be able to complete a Blind Transfer back to the Main Office if your IP phone was in Local Mode.
