i haven't yet had to install a srg yet but i'm sure my time is coming...i'm just wondering what is the difference between the two, why would one use a srg 50 instead of a bcm 50?

Want your set to look like a BCM/Norstar or PBX? The SRG is a survivable gateway. Especially useful in metro areas where all the DID line would come into the main office. You gete all the features and functionality of the PBX as if you were on site. Too many to list here.

Allows Remote IP sets off a CS1000, to fall back to the SRG (Survivable Remote Gateway) and use local POTS or T1 lines to continue doing basic business.
