I have a problem with a SRG50 1.0 to SRG50 3.0 upgrade. I had an engineer go to site to upgrade the SRG but he encountered a problem during step two of the upgrade applying..." stage gives an error message: apply failed.
He then found a solution on Nortel’s site (3651073). This states that the problem is caused by the SRG patch previously loaded and that another patch needs to be installed to remove the original patch. This is all ok but when you try and upload service update 3 which contains the relevant patch, no software appears in the update window.
Has anyone out there experienced this issue or have any ideas of what to do next. My own thoughts are to level 2 reset the SRG removing all previous updates and starting a fresh.
