Is it possible for the analog devices to dial out of the CS1k trunks? If so how do you program it so you don't affect the SRG analog lines which are used for 911 calls?
it's all in how you configure your destination codes. If you break 911 and 9911 in your destination codes, then you can build other destination codes (9A, 99A, 91A) to route other 9+ traffic over the IP trunks and out the main office. You'll need to configure the NRS to allow this as well as configure some other dialing plan info on the SRG.
My SRG analog lines use destination code 9. My VoIP lines use destination code 8. I guess I'm a little slow on what I need to do next on both the SRG & NRS.
On the fax machine dial 8+ the number and absorb the 8. Then in the NRS send all calls to the PBX endpoint. INAC should be checked on the ip trunk route in the PBX to automatically insert ac1 in front of any call that is not CDP or UDP call type. This should take care of it. NCOS on the trunks needs to be high enough to allow the dialing you want.
Here is the problem. If there are multiple sites then all calls say to 907-555-1212 will go out the PBX and you may want that call to go somewhere else. The NRS does not route based on NCOS or TGAR or anything like that. On sites I have installed I have had to do alot of digit manipulation in the PBX especially on systems that had multiple CS1000T's.
Think it through and plan carefully, good luck.
