SRG to CS1K codec mismatch

Hi all,

Im getting an issue on a few srg's that when a phone on the srg is forwarded to the voicemail system on the CS1k 1 in 4 calls that get transfered connect but a silent msg is left and i get the following error msg on the srg:

53009 critical ResourceMediaController:OID=0x10166dc8) Codec and/or frames per packet mismatch

* Negotiated codec and f.p.p. *

Codec= MPSMI_CODEC_G729_B

Frames per packet= 3

* Requested codec and f.p.p. *

Codec= MPSMI_CODEC_G711_ALAW

Frames per packet= 2

Anyone seen this before or know where i should start looking?

Look at your node config in the CS1k. Take note of the codecs provisioned as well as the payload sizes on each.

On the SRG, duplicate the settings and remove any codecs permitted in the SRG that the VGMC doesn't allow.

I'm guessing that the SRG want's to use A_law and the VGMC want's to use mu_law.
