I have a strange problem with an SRG (BCM 3.7 based). It is hooked up to a Meridian upgraded to CS1000. Everything works Ok, with the IP phones normally registering on the Meridian. On disconnecting the cicuit to the main office the SRG takes over as expected and the IP phones use the analogue lines on the system. However , when the link to the Meridian is reconnected ,the IP phones do not re-register to the Meridian. Im sure my config is Ok...any ideas?

You need to find this patch and apply:

The following issues are addressed:
1. SRG Sets Stay in Local Mode after WAN outage, Main Office upgrade or reboot.
This SRG patch solves the issue where sets remained in local mode after a WAN outage, Main
Office upgrade or reboot. It also lessens the likelihood of SRG systems in a large configuration
flooding the NCS with messages during this scenario.
