Hello everyone,
Would anyone know the maximum number of days that an SRG can be in local mode?

thx

It'll stay in local mode until it sees the gatekeeper again.

I was told conflicting information by Nortel engineers stating anywhere from 30 to 60 days so I know there is a limit...

What r they telling u will happen if it doesn't see the gatekeeper in 60 days? If it can't see the gatekeeper it will never switch to normal mode.

Local mode will only time out if you force the set into local mode as a test. If all is working fine in normal mode and for some reason need to test local mode you can do it under services.

Don't confuse an SRG 50/200/400 (which has no time limit in local mode) with a CS 1000 Branch Office (which does have a time limit in local mode).

There is no limit after as the system has been in local mode for a couple months now...
