SRG 1.0 on CS1000S 4.5 (CallForward dont work) 1

Hi there!

I setted up an SRG 1.0 (BCM 400) with CS1000S. I did use the SRG Local PRI for outgoing calls. Everything works fine as long as u do normal dialing... (it just take a while till call get connected but i guess thats normal with VoIP)
Anyways... if i try to make an external call forward in "normal" mode... i get an disconnect and see something like Timer Error on tracing call via dch....

Anybody know how to fix?

You have to remember that when the sets co-located with the SRG are in "Normal" mode, they get all of there features, routing, etc., from the CS1000, as if they are directly connected to it ... because they are!
Make sure the TN/DN you're using on the CS1000 is programmed appropriately.

thx for ur answer dlesap but im sorry i cant find any patch 21253 in PEP Libary :O(

SupportDude the telefon are of course programmed in CS1000 and all works fine... just the CFW to external over the local PRI(SRG)dont work...

In PEP library, choose:

CSE 1000 / Meridian 1 PEP Search
Then in PEP id enter 21253 and no rls...you will find it.

But hmm to bad i cant use cause i have rel. 4.50w... in PEP libary is reported its fixed already with 4.50q but im not sure about it cause it sounds exactly like the problem i have here.... :O(

anything what i can do with rel. 4.50w?

I see...
I used the one for Rls 4.00 not 4.50w.
I can see that Nortel doesn't rewrite that patch for 4.50w. I guess it's then possible to ask for it on the correct release, or Nortel have to give 4.50q or u for free.
Try to contact Support center and ask for it.

Before you focus on a patch, make sure the standard programming is done correctly on the TN in the CS1000. CFXA must be programmed in the CLS to allow external forwarding. Can other phones from the CS1000 forward externally? You may need a patch, but I wouldn't "start" there.

teekow... programming is as far as i see OK... cfw to external work too if u use local gateway on CS1000 Site...but not if u use remote Gateway at SRG... even the telefone can dialout over PSTN on SRG site... so the patch sounds pretty good. Just amazing that it should work with 4.50q but they lost it again on 4.50w :O(

Problems are solved...thx guys... 4.50w dont need a patch anymore... but i changed type of dialing plan and after that everything works fine now....
