Can anyone answer questions about SR-MGC for an SV8500?

Is the SR-MGC a seperate piece of equipment, or is it licensing on the SV8500?

If an SR-MGC takes over, do you regain full functionality?

Can you use SR-MGC with IPX rev 24?

"However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results." Sir Winston Churchill

The SR-MGC is a seperate piece of hardware that can be located at a seperate location for basic functionality if you lose your main SV8500. It requires its own licensing and should be a 1 for 1 based on your SV8500 IP licensing to allow for functionality to work correctly. IE if you have in IPAN 750 total licenses then you should have 750 in the SR-MGC so that MG PRI's and other things work correctly. If you do not require a 1 for 1 ratio then the Phones and MG PRI's go on a first come first served basis and will log into the SR-MGC as they get an IP address
