squirrel req printer output is all ???????? marks

i have an old classic squirrel system, v3.50.36 (NT). I have added a 4th req printer and edited the menu items so they print to the new printer...but all that prints is???????????????????? (a bunch of question marks)

it looks like your rs-232 module is blown or a bad connection. Did you replace the interface cable or do ou have another printer or rs-232 module you could swap to test connections and or hardware?

Could also be the dip switch settings...copy them from a similar model of printer thats working...
