Squirrel 4.0 - CC auth over IP

Does Squirrel 4.0 have the ability to authorize/post credit cards over IP, or just dial-up modem? I know the 3.x versions can't.

Also, I have a systech port server box (serial to ethernet) that someone once told me you can "program" or "trick" the Squirrel host into thinking it is a dial modem, but goes out over IP. Has anyone ever tried this or heard of this?

It sounds like you need an interface. Try some of the credit card gateways companies like shift4.com, and see if they can help.
