Squid Redhat

Hi all,

I have the following error when i wanto to start the squid
--
[root@virtual Server]# service squid start
init_cache_dir /var/spool/squid... /etc/init.d/squid: line 54: 9510 Aborted $SQUID -z -F -D >> /var/log/squid/squid.out 2>&1

Any idea?

does the /var/log/squid directory exist?
also check /var/spool/squid

/var/spool/squid -- is empty
and the logs say
more squid.out

Add a visible_hostname to squid.conf
