Hello group,

Plz help me in this.We have squid 2.4 stable on linux 8(Redhat).The problem is the cache is not geting updated.if a page is changed on web server the client behind the proxy
will see old page of the site.plz help in rectifing this problem.

umm ... are you sure you want a web cache then?

if you are in control of the web pages that you want to look at then you can add meta tags to the top to say how often you want the pages to be cached for.

if you aren't in control of the web pages, then 'reload' in your browser should work.

if you don't want a cache, and you're not doing any site blocking or very specific client control (client a can access microsoft.com and netscape.com, client b can only access netscape.com), look at 'delegate'
