Hi. I have a problem with my files, that i hope someone can clear up. I have a site of several pages, using nested templates. However, whenever i change one of the nested templates, the pages that are based on that template kind of corrupts, and lots of squares appear in both the code, and on the layout view.

It is a bit difficult to explain, and i can't copy and paste the code to show you, but basically, after almost every character is a square, even after spaces. This only applies to text, and not html code. I give a an example of what i mean below. (i have used zero's to represent the squares).

I have tried just doing a search and replace, but when i copy a square, there is nothing copied onto the clipboard.

Can anyone help?

It sounds to me like your font(s) are corrupt. What happens if you copy and paste it into Notepad? Sometimes if I am having a font issue - maybe its a CSS thing (copying text from another site and maybe bringing in the style with it). I will sometimes bring it into Notepad and then copy and paste from Notepad into Dreamweaver
