Hi,
We have a MS-ACCESS db application that uses Sqlpassthru queries to retrieve data from an Oracle (8.1) database. This application's user population has grown and managing the manual setting up of DSN on the user's workstations is becoming inefficient.
I've tried to find threads and FAQs that gives instruction on how to setup DSN-less connection but found none so far that worked.
There was one FAQ that I tried to follow only to find out that it uses SQLConfigDataSource API, which I don't have.
Is there another FAQ page or Thread that describes how to setup DSN-less connection to an Oracle 8.1 database and that enables sql-pass through queries ?
Any help is appreciated.
