I am a newbie. I have a select statement which in some cases will be successful and other times not. When it is unsucessful, I want to clear the sqlca. Can anyone suggest how to clear the sqlca? Thanks!!!

What do you mean by 'clearing the sqlca'? Is there some other issue you are having when the select is unsuccessful?
