I am a newbie. I have a select statement which in some cases will be successful and other times not. When it is unsucessful, I want to clear the sqlca. Can anyone suggest how to clear the sqlca? Thanks!!!

Are you sure you got the advice correctly? I don't think I ever heard about sqlca as you spelled it and I googled "clear sqlca" and nothing useful comes up.
