SQL7 & Windows 2000 Srv - MAPI?????

Have just built a new server using Windows 2000 Server SP2 and installed SQL7 Server. I have Lotus Notes mail servers configured for IMAP.

Does anyone know how I can setup SQL Mail to see the MAPI profile which I have setup through Outlook Express 5? This is because I have managed to get Outlook Express to send my mail and everything is working well, but when I go into Enterprise Manager, and then into configure SQL Mail there are no profiles within the drop down list for me to select.

I don't want to use Lotus Notes Connector to send mail as it really dosn't work AT ALL!!

To configure a mail profile

Logon to the Microsoft® Windows NT® server specifying the name and password used to start SQL Server services for that server.
Create and configure or copy an existing mail profile by clicking on the Mail icon in Control Panel. Select the appropriate mail service to interact with your mail host. Choose a name for the profile that will help the recipient identify the messages.
On the server running Microsoft SQL Server™, start the mail client using the newly created mail profile.
Send a message addressed to the same profile name to ensure the mail client, mail profile, and e-mail provider are working properly. If your e-mail message does not appear, you may need to force mail synchronization by going to the Tools menu, and then clicking Deliver Now.
Exit the mail client program.

I am using Windows 2000 Server, which doesn't show a mail icon in the control panel. This is the problem I am having as I can't configure a mail profile in Windows 2000 Server.

Just to let everyone know -

Have just found a way around this problem. With Windows 2000 Server there is no mail icon in the control panel as default. The only way to get this icon, and to get SQL Server to see the profile, is to install Microsoft Outlook 2000. This installs the icon for you.
