we're doing everything we can to increase performance of our content server environment. our dba's found that they could increase performance on the database by creating indexes on a few different tables. anyone tried this? i know ot won't support this...

If the additional indexes will enhance performance, then I would suggest adding them and seeing if they improve the overall performance.

didn't know we were so comfortable making changes to a production database.

i spoke with ot, they support these changes. they may ask us to remove them if we discover a problem and troubleshooting is needed.
