I'm sure this is a dumb question, so thanks in advance for answering! We have a SQL 7 Server running. We have purchased a new server and the Network Admin installed SQL 2000. I did a backup and restore of the databases from SQL 7 Server to SQL 2000 Server, but we're not going to shut down the SQL 7 Server until we know all our process are working on the SQL 2000 Server. My client workstation has SQL 7 Client installed and I can't access the SQL 2000 Server. If I upgrade my Client on my workstation to SQL 2000 will I still be able to access the SQL 7 Server?

Again, thanks in advance for answering what feels like a dumb question.
