Hi all,
i created a catalog and some reports on sample data and they work fine. But when i moved them to work on the production data, an error appeared in some of the reports.
The error is "SQL0802N Arithmetic overflow or other arithmetic exception occurred". So, have anyone encountered the same problem or have a clue about the solution?
The production database is DB2 on AS400.
Thanks in advance

Hi dideb,

I have never came across this problem with impromptu but did come across something similiar with building cubes. The end solution was that I was not allocating enough space in transformer to hold the decimal. This is just a guess based on the situation above but I would say you could have a fact with alot of digits after the decimal point or a very large decimal and impromptu cant handle this. Do a round function on the facts in your report or play around with the settings in impromptu under -> tools -> options -> Data format and maybe this might solve this problem
