I have downloaded the SQL2008 CTP and tried to install. I can see BIDS but I do not see a SSMS. What is wrong? I tried to install multiple times.
TIA

If BIDS is installed SSMS should be installed. Have you tried looking for ssms.exe to see if it didn't create the shortcut?

I have selected all the options like Database Engine, Client Tools, BOL, IS, RS etc.,

I do not find the SSMS.exe
and I think in sql05, it is sqlwb.exe.

TIA

If ssms isn't on your system then it didn't install for some reason. Check the install log for any errors. By default it should be in the path (at least it is on both my systems).

<useless trivia>
Yes on SQL 2005 it was called SQLWB.exe. It's a hold over from when SQL 2005 was in early beta and Management Studio was being called the SQL Work Bench. By the time they changed the product name to Management Studio it was to late to rename the file.
