Calling stored procedures on an iSeries (not sure if that is relevant) the database returns this warningmessage with the resultset. In java this is caught as an SQLException.

Pretty annoying to get a warning message when everything executes fine.

Does anyone know if DB2 can be configured not to return this message?

Every comment, hint and solution will be appreciated.

Not sure but this message could come from the stored procedure parameter style which is probably declared as PARAMETER STYLE SQL. If accurate, check the parameter style in the stored procedure and look at chapter 6.2 in Redbook "Stored Procedures, Triggers and User Defined Functions" @
I think that you'd try out PARAMETER STYLE GENERAL if appropriate instead.
