hi
i have been asked to produce a telephone using VB6, i have only one problem, i have an address book facility where the name, number and address is entered into 3 separate text boxes and enterd into an Access 97 table via a recordset. I need to produce an SQL statement which will search the address book for the name belonging to the number that has just been dialed. This is a project i have been set and the reason this question sounds confusing is because the Examination Board that set this question are absolute idiots, who don't seem to know a thing about computing.
thanks

if you just want the string
"select * from Table where Name = '"& TheNameToSearch &"'"
