Howdy folks, I'm not too much of an Oracle expert. I use it "casually" at work to run SQL queries. Until recently I had the 8.0.6 client, but I recently got a new PC and it has the 8.1.7 client installed, and SQL Worksheet looks a little difference.
As I run queries, I notice some differences that I can't seem to get rid of:
1. Previously, I'd get one row of headers, even if my query returned 1000 rows. Now I get a row of headers about every 8 rows.
2. Even stranger, if I run a query like "Select * from tablename" I get one set of headers for each FIELD, so it looks like this:
ID FIRSTNAME LASTNAME
1
ID FIRSTNAME LASTNAME
Steve
ID FIRSTNAME LASTNAME
Battisti
ID FIRSTNAME LASTNAME
2
ID FIRSTNAME LASTNAME
Mike
ID FIRSTNAME LASTNAME
Smith
Obviously, this makes even a simple query take forever.
3. Is there any way to cancel a query mid-execution in SQL Worksheet??
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
