I need help on how to select statistical calculation like average,SD by SQL from MSacess. Anyone please.
I tried: DB_SQLString:= "SELECT DAvg([field]) FROM
AS [newfield]" but didn't work.

Sorry but I don't have a lot of experience with SQL. When I get in to work tomorrow morning, I'll check out a couple of my SQL books & see if anything jumps out at me. This seems like an SQL-specific question rather than an Authorware one so you might have better luck trying some SQL forums.

I'm assuming you're Datagrip or v12 or something right?

I studied SQL tutorial and fixed it :
DB_SQLString := "SELECT Avg([Field]) AS [Field2] FROM
"
Actually I think authorware and access are of much use!
