SQL Timeout error

Hi all,

We have an application that keeps getting a "timeout error". The application connects to our sql database over a very busy network. In the application log and event log files there are no reference to any errors. What happens is that the application gets a timout error, a pop-up box appears, then if you click on "OK" the application continues where it stopped.

Has anyone ever seen this before?

Does anyone have any ideas on where I can start to trace/catch some errors so that I can start looking somewhere for the real problem?
