SQL Time Out error

Good afternoon first of all I hope Im in the right forum if im not I apologize

A person I work with has just asked me to help them with this issue. They are unable to print a report from a proprietary application and recieve the following error,“SQL Time Out” error

Any ideas on how to solve this or what the issue might be?

Do you know if the backend database is SQL Server and are they using odbc to establish the connection?

I would begin by verifying the connection.
