SQL table anomaly

Hello;
I have an Access 03 database front end with a SQL2k backend. The backend was previously Access.

The odd thing is that one of the tables will only allow me to delete records that were entered in the database prior to upsizing to SQL. If I enter new records directly to the table, and try to delete them, I get a message "The Microsoft Jet database engine stopped the process because you and another user are attempting to change the same data at the same time".
I know this is not true because I am the only one using this database.

If I access the table in Enterprise Manager, I can delete the new records with no problem.

I have tried refreshing all the table links, importing into a new database, nothing helps.

Anyone have an answer. Thank you.

No Bit field allowing Null in the upsized table ?

Hope This Helps, PH.

That was it!!!!
I changed the field type to varchar and it worked fine.
Can you tell me what the scoop is on this.
Thanks so much.
