Right we have a client database with a directories page - there is a link at the top of the page for companies begining with a perticular letter like so: A | B | C .... and so on. Now I am having trouble with the sql syntax in my query.

What I am trying to do is select all the records from the table where the first character of the company name is a number.... Can anyone help?
