Does anyone know if there is a standard for SQL? I'm looking for something like ANSI's standards. I don't know if ANSI came out with standards for SQL, but if so, could someone point me in the right direction?

I appreciate any and all help in this matter. Thanks in advance! ~[ cid ]~

There are several Ansi standards for SQL. There is an ANSI Standard Techtips forum. The only problem with the standards is that none of the current SQL platforms totally implements the standard, and all of them implements additions to the standard which are propriatary.

Check out JCC's SQL Standards page at
Ocelot has a lot of info on standard SQL including specs.
