SQL Server to SQL 2008 or SQL Native Client 10

Hi I am running Crystal XI with the upgrade.

I recently upgraded my ODBC connection from SQL Server to the SQL Native Client 10. I received a series of errors where it seemed that the databased was busy with another command and therefor would not answer my queries. Is that a typical/usual problem? Is Crystal supposed to be compatible with SQL Native Client 10? What about SWL 2008 - I could also potentially upgrade to that and I would like to know if I am going to encounter any problems.
