Hi,

The MSDE server is taking up nearly 1GB of my memory and I'm not sure why.
The only database is my BOXI db. It's file size is 1.3GB.

I know SQL like to take as much memory as possible but is it needed for only 1 db? Can and should I limit the ammount of memory sqlserver.exe can take? Should I even be worried about this or is it perfectly normal.

My CMS.exe is about 130MB in memory.

Any help in clearing this up is great :)

Don't worry.
Spoke to our dba and he cleared up that it's dynamic and not to worry.
