What are the steps for rebooting an SQL NT Server?

You can stop the sql server by stopping it under enterprise manager, after that just reboot the server itself in the normal manner

You can also just reboot the server as you would any other NT server. The SQL server service will stop as do other services.

It should also start automatically, if it's set to (default).
