I have a customer getting a new dual processor server. The term "processor" license for SQL Server 2005 seems to indicate that they would need to purchase 2 of these, since the server has 2 processors.

Am I correct? If not can anyone point me to some documentation I can use to show a vendor that this is not required?

"What version of URGENT!!! are you using?

Dual core processor = 1 processor for license purposes.
All other processors require 1 licence each as I understand it.
