I am trying to setup a user to connect to one of our SQL 2000 Servers by setting up a System DSN on their Windows 2000 machine and for some unknown reason this particular server name is listed twice. I can create other DSN connections to our other SQL 2000 and 7.0 Servers except for this one. I have never had this issue before when setting up any other users and I am wondering why this happened. Is this an MDAC issue or an operating system issue? No matter who logs into the PC they get the same result. Just wondering if anyone has seen this before. Do I need to have the PC rebuilt?
