I have a SQL Server 2000 database that I will need to take from development and put into production. Currently the database is on a workstation running Windows 2K Server for development purposes. The database will have dozens of users with data entry capability and hundreds of users with viewing/querying capability. The users will have a web front end to the database. I need to know the best possible hardware setup I will need to purchase to support this user scenario. Money is no object but the cost must still be within reason. Can anybody give me any recommendations or point me to some websites that have hardware specs for SQL Server?
