SQL Server data to .pdf Report

What is the best way to pull data from an SQL Server DataBase and have the output report end up in .pdf format?

I have tried MS-Access, but the # of columns that I want to pull is beyond the MS-Access limit.

I would like to be able to allow the user to query the DB and pull a subset of a report. But all output needs to be in .pdf form

Crystal reports 8.5 will output to a PDF file.
