Can you run a scheduled job as someone other then the account that is running the SQL Server Agent?

Let me clarify a bit further


I have a linked server.. linked using user "A"

SQL Server Agent is running on user "B"

When a scheduled job runs that uses the linked server which security is used? User "A"'s? or "B"'s?

It depends on the security settings in the linked server setup. What options have you chosen on the linked server properties (security tab)?
