Is it better to get a certification in SQL Server 7.0 or 2000 right now? I know that 2000 is the latest and greatest, but my company uses 7.0, and may upgrade. I would like to get the MCDBA Certification, but I don't want to take the 7.0 test that may be rendered extinct in the next 6 to 12 months. On the other hand, I am not sure how learning SQL Server 2000 will help me with a 7.0 database? Which route is the best to take?
