SQL Server 2005 settings 1

I am new in SQL Server and not being able to fix the problem really disturbs me

Something happened with my SQL Server Settings.
Whenever I start New Query I am unable to see "Object Explorer Details" tab content sumalteneously.
I have switch tabs every time back forth.How can I recover it?

I know,is a stupid question but the issue makes me feel
very uncomforyable and it slows down the work process.

You probably have the "Object Explorer" tab shown vertically along the left edge of your SQL Server Management Studio window.

When you hover your mouse over the tab (or click on it), it probably slides open, right?

Well... when the object explorer window is open, you should see 3 symbols along the right side of the blue title bar that says object explorer. The first is a little triangle pointing down, the second looks like a thumb tack, and the 3rd is an X. Click on the middle one that looks like a thumb tack. This will prevent the object explorer window from auto-hiding.

My guess is that you inadvertently clicked on the thumbtack at some point.

Then again....

If the "Object Explorer Details" window is showing as a tab, the way to fix it is....

Right click on the tab, and then click "Dockable"

I do not have "Object Explorer" window. Instead I have "Object Explorer Details". Therefore there is no such symols on the right side of the blue title bar.
I see just "Refresh", "synchronize", "filter", "list" and "Details" symbols

When you right click on the words "Object Explorer Details", what do you see?

If I right click I see the menu :

-floating
-Dockable (associated with a check mark)
-Tabbed Document
-AutoHide (it is gray)
-Hide

I bump-up my question as I probably unclearly described it initially. So far I would try to make it more clear at this time.

In the past I was able to see "Object Explorer Details" on the left hand panel and I was able to write and edit my SQL queries on the right hand panel.

Instead now I have an only panel when I click " Query". I have “Object Explorer Details" as a window (not a left panel) which I have to move back-forth.

Besides I do not have "Parse" icon (just "Execute" icon) and have to open "Query" menu to be able to use "Parse".

Could you please help me with it? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated

I seem to have similar problems with Object Details. I do remember having them as part of left tab (similar to Object Explorer), but now it seems to be a separate window. Docking suggested by George helps, but not quite.
On the bright side, I do have Parse button yet...

I have just restored my "Parse" icon .

However I am still struggling with "Object Explorer Details" left hand panel......

I moved it by Docking as it was suggested. Now it looks somewhat like a right hand panel. That is somewhat better than a window....

Yes, better but still not as it used to be. I don't know what and when caused this problem as I don't use Object Details often and noticed this problem myself just yesterday.
