I am currently using SQL server 2000, but I am trying to install SQL Server 2005 using virtual pc for testing. please does anyone can tell me how can I install SQL server 2005 in a virtual pc. Thanks for your valuable help.

Regards,

Jimmy

You would install it just like you would on a normal PC. There is nothing special about installing software on a virtual PC. As far as SQL 2005 knows it's being installed on a physical PC.

I've got several SQL Servers setup in virtual worlds on VM servers. Some are dev and some are production.
