I just installed SQL Server 2005 Standard Edition but cannot find SQL Server Management Studio in my windows list of programs. Is SQL Server Management Studio suppose to install with SQL Server 2005 Standard Edition? If not, should I just obtain it from the MS site?
It should be installed from the same CDs/DVD that you installed the server from. However it is not installed by default. Run through the installer again. When you get to the list of services select the Client Tools (last option on the list).
