Hi all
I need to install ArcServe 12 on a SQL server 2005 machine. However, ArcServe 12 uses SQL server for it's backend db. So in order to install ArcServe I would also have to install SQL Server Express 2005 also. Are there any issues with having 2 versions of SQL server on the same machine ? Would I end up with an unsupported configuration ?
I know that ArcServe can use an instance of SQL Server instead of installing the Express version - but I don't want to do this as the backup & SQL db's will be managed by different teams from different companies
any help would be greatly appreciated
