sql searches and the info store

is it possible to run SQL queries against the Information Store while a mailbox store is dismounted? if so, how?

i'm trying to find a way to export some users calendar appointments so that i can parse the results to generate a report. it would be too cumbersome to open each mailbox and do a manual export
