Is anyone using SQL Reporting services to access VFP Dbc's. I had a scenario working where the SRS and VFP data were all on the same server. I was able to successfully run a SRS report on a VFP database using VFPOLEDB.
Since, I have moved the SRS to it's own server and I am trying to access the same VFP data source on the other server using the same VFPOLEDB technology.
The only way I can get this to work is to copy the VFP data source to the new server. Somehow, SRS and VFP do not like to communicate over different servers using VFPOLEDB.
If anyone has any experience, suggestions, successes or failures to share, I would be greatly appreciative.
Version Information is:
VFP 9.0
SQL Server 2005
Latest VFP OLE DB download from VFP site
Server is running Windows Server 2003
