Hi everyone

We have setup a new server on a seperate T1.
We have installed SQL server 2000 and would like to be able to connect and manage the sql database remotely. what server side configurations do I need?
How can I set this up and does anyone know of any good articles out there that can guide me through this setup process?

Thanks
Will

No need to use terminal server, that is just one more piece on your DB Server you really don't need. Enteprise manager and most W2K server tools allow you to connect to a remote server. I have sever reservations on running anything on production servers as if something goes wrong it can require a reboot of the server to fix which isn't, IMHO, a good thing.

I'll read the article as I may change my mind but as it stands now I say remotely administrate other machines with the tools provided, ie MMC etc.
